The Purpose of the Global Outreach Ministry of Urbancrest Baptist Church is:

“To mobilize UBC members to fulfill the Great Commission, equipping them for ministries locally, nationally, and to the ends of the earth to reach the lost for Jesus Christ, make disciples of believers, provide resources and training, and to work with those called to the same task.”

About Our Missions Staff

Doss Estep

Doss Estep has been the Minister of Missions at Urbancrest since May of 2007.  He has served on staff at Urbancrest as Minister of Education and Director of the Global Impact Celebration since 2005.  Doss and his wife Linda have two adult sons, one grandchild, and live in the greater Cincinnati area.

Doss served as a church pastor for fifteen years, and also in local and state denominational leadership positions.  Since 1996, he has been involved in leading church mission programs.  He has personally lead over 20 volunteer mission teams on international projects worldwide.

Mike Wright

Mike Wright recently joined the UBC leadership team as our Local Missions’ Strategist and Minister to Senior Adults.  He and his wife Tammy reside in Monroe, OH.  They have two daughters, and three grand children.

Since 2003, Mike has worked to develop local mission’s ministry [Living Hope Community Ministries] within multi-housing (apartment) communities in West Chester and Hamilton, OH.  This ministry included kids’ clubs, teen clubs, ESL classes, Bible studies, block parties, summer programs and special events like talent shows, dramas, etc.

Mike plans to work with teams of our UBC family to fulfill the Great Commission right here within our Lebanon community through sowing the gospel seed and making disciples for Christ.
