Your Mission...

Your mission is the one given by Jesus, The Great Commission [Matthew 28: 19-20] which includes sowing the gospel seed and making Christ-followers right here in our city of Lebanon [Jerusalem was the local community in the text]. Our mission statement of Urbancrest Baptist Church encapsulates this: “Turning every life we touch into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.”

You can help fulfill this commission and mission through volunteering to serve right here in our community of Lebanon. Many of these ministry opportunities are available for your entire family. What better way for you to “catch” this mission then get involved and model serving others along side your family?

These are family-friendly ministries in which your entire family can participate. Also, these ministries are very feasible, you don’t have to buy a plane ticket! You don’t need a passport or immunizations to join in these local ministry opportunities. In addition, these ministries are often the first step in preparing our folks for our global mission trips. So, come and join us as we show the love of Christ through serving others and sharing the good news of the gospel.

We invite you to get involved in reaching our community for Christ, weekly, monthly, or special calendar events. There are a wide variety of opportunities to serve in which you can use your talents and God-given gifts for God’s glory.
