Resource Ministries

Urbancrest Resource Ministries receives donations of gently used clothing, shoes, house wares, Christian and educational literature, imperishable foods, medical supplies, furniture and working appliances, tools, new generation TV’s and almost anything else except exercise equipment. These donations are then sorted, separated for local use, or shipped to our ministry partners in Appalachia, Africa, Russia, Ukraine, the Caribbean, South America, and other places throughout the world. Mission Harvest America located in Jacksonville, Florida is our partner in national and international shipping. All the resources you donate will be given in Jesus name with the intent to lift up His name and draw the recipients to Him.

We accept donations from anyone. We encourage other churches, civic organizations, and businesses to help us make an eternal difference in the lives of the world’s most needing people. Our facility is located at 1100 State Route 122, Lebanon, Ohio next to the Cobblestone Church.

How You Can Be Involved

Pray

Pray that donations will come.

Pray for the volunteers that will do the work.

Pray for the finances to send the shipments.

Pray for the mission partners as they distribute the resources in Jesus name.

Pray for the salvation of the recipient of the resource.

Give

Volunteer your time to help at the warehouse.

Give financially to the Faith Promise Fund so that we will be able to continue this ministry.

Donate - Go through your life and bring us what God has given you to give to the world in Jesus name.

Spread the Word

Tell other churches and businesses about this ministry.

Let businesses know that the resource ministry will give them a tax receipt for their donated surplus or discontinued items.

Let us know of urgent local needs.

Special Needs

Since many couples at Urbancrest are considering foster care/adoption, we have a need for twin beds (frames, box springs, & mattress), children’s beds and cribs. Also, other furniture items for a child’s room are needed.

There is also a need for full size or queen beds, suitcases that can be used to pack supplies in for mission trips (Haiti medical teams, etc.).

Urbancrest Resource Ministries is also receiving used cell phones (cell phones are for a recycling project that will send money to Wycliffe Bible Translators).

We are looking for volunteers that would be willing to volunteer at the resource center for a few hours one day a week.
